Summer Works Scheme – We are delighted to inform you that we have been included in the Summer Works Scheme for 2007 and funds have been allocated which will enable us to resurface the yards. Hopefully this work will be carried out during the Summer Holidays this year.

Thank You– A sincere thank you to the Parents Association for their funding of the Interactive White Board for our Science Room. This resource will prove most useful and beneficial to all our children. This generous gesture by the Parents Association is indicative of the excellent cooperation and collaboration that exists between the school and the parents.

School Choir Our choral rehearsals under the direction Anne Purcell have been ongoing for some time now. Ian Matthews has also been assisting in this work. We have a number of events coming up in the near future:
Friday March 2nd – Wesley Interschools Music Festival
Tuesday March 6th – Córfhéile na Scoileanna
Monday March 26th – Chernobyol Children’s Concert at The Helix (Tickets on sale in School)
Friday May 18th – A.I.M.S. Festival in New Ross


Hurling– Both our Senior and Junior hurling teams are in full training on astro turf under Coaches Pat Robinson and Gearóid Ó’Fáthárta. They have also organised a series of challenge matches in preparation for the hurling season which will begin in February. Here’s hoping for a successful season!
